This square is designed by TheLavenderChair.com. This is another new designer to me. Personally I think one of the best things about the Moogly CAL is that I get to find new yarnies to follow and interact with. I love that her whole story started with receiving a little lavender chair at her baby shower, and how she stacked all the things she was making for her new baby in it. Looking through her free designs I have found several that I want to add to my One Day List. At the top of the list are the Love Me Tender Fingerless Gloves. I am so making these for myself because they just make me happy.

The square she designed for the CAL is called Ombre FLower Garden and is beautiful when worked in the solid color. I know she designed it to be colorful but all the stitches and bobbles really pop in the solid color and I love it.
She has done an awesome job writing this pattern. Take a minute to read all the notes before you start and you should not have any problems. The trickiest parts of the square are the drop stitches but take your time and you will pick it up quickly.
There are very few notes for this square but here they are:
Rd 3: If you have problems making your first 5dctog the right height then (ch 2, 4dctog) this will make it the right height and size.
Rd 9: slst to ch 1 sp them pick up pattern. (each ch 1 sp counts as 1 sts here)
Measure as you go after round 12. I hit 12″ there and didn’t need to do round 13.
