I just finished square #23! I am so close to being done with the squares and I am so excited. I am already planning in my head how I am going to turn all these squares into blankets for the Ronald McDonald House.
But before we put the cart before the horse lets talk about this square. It is called the Aubrieta Bloom by Petals to Picots. First I have to tell you I love this square it is just so pretty, and worked up so quickly. Second I love that there is a complete stitch diagram for this square! I know not everyone loves a stitch diagram but I do. I love that I can just glance at it and keep going without being bogged down with rows of instructions that you have to break into workable sections. When I get caught up with my to do list I am seriously going through her whole web site.

I have no tips for you for this square. Every where there is a color change she has it happen in the same place you would have finished off. The only hint I can even give you is to make sure you know which cluster you are working. The treble clusters are only in the center.
I am extremely excited! I am still using the Caron One Pound yarn skein in Rose and the same metal I hook – but it finally came out with perfect gauge! I made every row as written. It came out to the perfect 12 inch square. Boom. I knew it would happen again one day.
Have fun hooking this one!
